New soles

During the time that have passed since I have been waiting for delivery of the Snowman, I have ordered studded winter wheels. I have ordered the winter wheels from my "royal supplier" Janne. I have bought tyres and rims from him since 1998. Then he owned Norks Tyre Service that he later sold to Euromaster. In autumn 2010, however, he has along with his wife Christina started up a new tyre service center, Swärds Däckservice, and that is where I ordered the winter wheels.

Today I went a little later to work and took the opportunity to before that take a detour to Swärds Däckservice in Torsvik to pick up the winter tires to the Snowman. I arrived at Janne and Christina at breakfast time for their assemblers. This meant that the poor caught cold Janne himself had put on his gloves and lift the wheels. I did not talk much with Janne and Christina when I had to quickly move on to the office. I hope that the new winter wheels will fit well on the Snowman.

I chose to buy alloy rims with studded tyres. The rims are of the brand and model Dezent RE. The tyres are of the brand and model Bridgestone Noranza 2 Evo and in the dimension 205/60-16. In the past I have never driven in winter soles from Bridgestone but obviously, these tyres are now manufactured in Nokian factories. The tyre patterns of the Bridgestone Noranza 2 Evo looked at a comparison with Nokian Hakka 7 to be very similar.
