Yesterday, when I finally got a precise date for the delivery of the Snowman, I took the opportunity to stop by Mats at Mr CAP in Jönköping and make an appointment for paint protection and glass protection. This is yet another place where I have been a loyal customer since 1998 with at least one treatment a year. The Snowman is my sixth car in order that I get treated by Mr CAP.
The reason I have my cars paint protected is that I value my own spare time much. Thus, there is no employment for me to regularly have to wax the car. In addition, the service that Mr CAP in Jönköping has provided over the years has been quite excellent. I have turned to them on several occasions when less prudent people have damaged my cars. Polishing scratches and dents removal is something that Mr CAP are specialists in handling.
The paint protection that I let Mr CAP perform on my car aims to make the car paint resistant to: air pollution, road dirt, UV-rays and shine degradation. I think the paint treatment is clearly worth the money even if it costs quite a lot.
The glass treatment makes the front windshield and the rear window extremely water repellent. When driving over 70 km/h in rainy conditions the windshield wipers are rarely needed. The cost of the glass protection is easily saved due to the fact that the wiper blades are not worn hardly at all and that the consumption of washer fluids are minimal. On my current car, I have not changed the wiper blades even once during 80000 km (and 40 months) and they are still in mint condition. In addition, the glass treatment prevents in winter times, the ice to stick hard on the windows. Usually it is possible to remove the ice just by lightly tapping the ice with the help of the snow brush's straws and then brush it away. I think that the glass treatment is quite amazing and I would recommend it more than any other treatment.
